The Donnepp Media Award awarded to Judith Scheytt was withdrawn due to accusations of antisemitism. Among the accusations were Scheytt wearing a T-shirt with the slogan “Never again means never again” and that she was “too activist.” The Association of Friends of the Adolf Grimme Award (Verein der Freunde des Adolf-Grimme-Preises) had the prize withdrawn because it wanted to avoid a threatening media campaign based on antisemitism. The decision to revoke the award was based on the activities of the Cologne Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation.
